If agents come to your workplace
If agents come to your workplace
- Immigration agents cannot enter non-public areas (like back offices or kitchens) without consent or a judicial warrant.
- Stay calm. Do not run — running can be used against you.
- You have the right to remain silent. You do not have to answer questions about your status.
- Ask: "Am I free to leave?" If yes, you may walk away calmly.
- Do not sign anything without talking to a lawyer.
